why would my highs in my car stop workin when i hook up a new cd player and a sub?

i put a new DD 1512 in my car and my highs stopped working. the sub hits but no music comes out of my highs

Brutus 		If your highs were working before i'd start by checking your wiring. I'd also check to see if there's a button or setting to shut them off. some decks have this setting so you can set your subs without hearing the highs. if that all checks out, it might just be a bad deck out of the box.
