i once heard a bird make the whole car-alarm sequence from start to end! lots of birds immitate the sounds they hear, such as starling and mockinbird, and in the city, they tend to hear a lot more car alarms than other birds. while there are few mockinbirds in the city, there are starlings. i thought it was pretty funny, but i only heard a complete car-alarm sequence from a bird once. not sure if it was starling or mockinbird that did it.

There is actually LOADS of wildlife in Orange County...way more bird species than just the three you mention...as well and mammals such as coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, skunks, and mountain lions. You may have heard a Mockingbird...they often mimic sounds they hear. I have heard them doing a cell phone "call" as well.
