Will an epicenter is not going to help you much. Shop's will sell you a epicenter telling it will help boost your bass, That's a Myth. Epicenters are used to put bass tracks on songs that don't have one.or restore a bass track that was removed like if you use a ipod player the don't store the full bass track . Example . If you like metalica an epicenter will help because they don't have a bass track in there music unlike Rap music has. So in this case it would help. On bass cd's it almost as useless as boobs on a rock. Both the epicenter an the soundstream do about the same thing. They also do something else. They act as a rca amplifier they jack up the signal from the radio most radios have a 2 volt to 3 volt signal output at the rca jacks on the radio. This is what the amps use to drive the speakers an subs. The stronger the signal the louder the amp. But there's a down side. The stronger you make the rca signal the more distortion you get an the harder the amp has to work. To much input will over drive the amp much like running your car a 8000rpm's redline then hitten the nos. something going to blow. What I would try first is this eq. over the years I've sold 100's with good outcome an the systems hit harder. This is just something to think about. I hope this will help you .
