sometimes when my sub hits it sounds right but then the next time its like its at half power, why is that ?

hotones 		lacking power.my best advice is a higher amp alternator.or try a battery cap.and of course your connections,size powe wire always 4gauge or bigger.

grimace 		It seems like your amp is malfunctioning. If the same bass note is lower its a problem.

ChillyMcFrilly 		It sounds like the distort function. It depends on the sound output and what is actually causing the issue may be that it has to much output on the side. Try rotating your sub and see if it causes further irritation.
