replaced ignition lock cylinder in 1998 Ford mustang. now my car wont start and the security light blinking?

Someone told me i could Bypass the Key Security buy cutting some wire? if so, please help

try unhooking the positive battery cable for about five minutes. then hook it back up.

Reset the ECU by unplugging the positive battery cable for about 5 minutes. This should reset the ECU and alloy the lock cylinder/key to sync up. If you are still having troubles, I would suggest contacting your local Ford dealer.
