problem with aux connection (no sub with ipod) ?

hi, i have recently purchased a clarion cz500a deck and installed it myself in my car i have sony xplod rear speakers amp and also xplod subwoofer all the wiring appears to be in good nick and in the right place. i receive full sound including subwoofer on 'cd' and 'tunner' but the aux and bluetooth when connecting my ipod for example results in poor sound with no subwoofer. this is very confusing to me beacuse i recieve good sound on radio and cd so i know all the connections are in the right place......???

Hey, have you checked to make sure the AUX cable isnt damaged? Does it plug into the front or back of your radio? If back, make sure you arent making it come out when you slide your radio into the deck. Is the Ipod sound settings set to really low? check the EQ on the ipod. Does the Ipod play loud like it should if you connect headphones to it? Perhaps the new Radios AUX port is broken? DO you plug your radio into the cigarette lighter to charge it while connected to the AUX wire? ...i ask because i have a USB cigarette lighter charger that plugs into that cigarette lighter hole, and i charge my ipod that way in my car, and if i play AUX from it on my radio while its plugged it, you get interferrence and it sounds bad, its something to do with the grounding interferring with your signal.
