indash dvd help ?
hi, i am currently in possession of a pioneer AVH-P5750 in dash head unit and have been extremely happy with it since day one when i first bought it +/- 3 or 4 years ago.
however, i would like to know if there is by any chance a way for me get it to play other formats like Mpeg4, Divx, and other media formats like that.
currently i can only play the standard DVD and VCD formats on disks. is there perhaps an add on device that would allow me to be able to use a USB flash drive.
i guess what im saying is, is there perhaps an aftermarket device such as the 1 offered by Grom Audio that allows your current headunit the functionality of being able to play mp3's from flash drive, but im my case it will allow me to play other media formats via flash drive?
does such a device exist or am i asking for too much? i really do like my current head unit and would not like to replace it with 1 that has the functions i want already built in
