i want to upgrade my cars audio system, what should i do first?

change headunit or speakers or just get a subwoofer. its a e36 bmw coupe

lmcaraudio 		i would say change the head unit and depends on how much money you are willing to spend, you can also change the factory speakers and get a powered subwoofer or a multichannel amp and a subwoofer. But go with the head unit first.

lmcaraudio 		Yea change out your headunit then replace your stock speakers and then I would get a subwoofer.

lmcaraudio 		Are you happy with how it sounds? If it is lacking bass then add a sub first, if the headunit is giving you problems then change that first. In other words change / add whatever you feel it is lacking first. Then proceed from there.
