how much does car audio installation cost?

I want to hook up two speakers to a two channel amp, and a subwoofer to anothertwo channel ampl. How much will this cost me?

Alexander 		I'd charge $100 or so for that. Regardless, stay away from Circuit City, Best Buy, etc, as they take shortcuts when doing the jobs, and don't always do it right. If you are going to get it done professionally, find a local shop, or maybe even Tweeter.

MichaelM 		It all depends on where you go, car audio shops are like auto mechanics, finding a honest one is not easy. If you have any mechanical skills I suggest you do it yourself. Any questions you have can be answered right here for free. Installing a amp only requires three power wires and RCAs for audio signal. If your amps are not too large I can tell you where you can get a amp wiring kit that will only cost $35 and includes everything you need to run about 1000watts rms with no problems. If you decide to DIY message me and I'll tell you where to get the kit.

Samantha 		bout $200+ if you want it done properly it involves alot of work putting all the wires and the cars carpet and bolting down the amps it also very easy to do yourself if u just but the kit it literally a couple of wires one to the battery then to the head unit then to the amp and from there to the sub. im a girl and ive done it before lol
