lets not waste moolah, and not support Chinese people taking jobs, so dont buy anything, TURN UP the trebble. If dat doesnt help, TURN DOWN the base. If you dont like turning down the base, do the economy a favor by keeping the last of the electronics comanies alive and buy a tweeter

Tweeter is for high frequencies through it you will hear your high instruments as cymbals and other. Voices are mostly in midrange. If you don't appreciate the voices you need to get some midrange speakers. If you don't have an EQ that could be what you need.

music is broken down into three different groups highs, mid bass, and low bass. for car audio that means tweeters, coax speakers, and subs. you need all for a complete stereo system

Tweeters play the highs it will make voices more pronounced and solo guitar sounds a whole lot better but even more important is the mid-range driver

The tweeters are what play the singing and any higher frequency noises in songs adding these will fix your problem of bass to treble ratio beacuse woofers provide a very small higher range

dont get tweeters if you cant hear the vocals. get some alpine type R or type S speakers and get a small 4 channel amp to power it. that'll fix it

Adding tweeters to your system will give more emphasis to the high frequencies in the sound spectrum. A good crossover unit and having them amplified will help them sound their best. But, if you just go this route, you will find that now your midrange will now be lacking. Either a good pair of coaxials or a true pair of "seperates" and having either of them amplified is a better approach. You'll add both mids & highs back into your listening experience and not have your subs just drown out the rest of the music.
