how do you know if the Car Audio Capacitor is bad?

the Digital Blue Voltage Display is not on and my lights is going dam. My subs still plays

Well the volume would not be as laud as normal and you would hear a significant decrease in bass. In some audio systems it would totally cease to work.

what makes you think it is bad? Your equipment won't work if it is completely bad, because it will break the circuit. You could just remove the capacitor as it is not a required component.
