how do i wire my car stereo?

i have 2 amps (4 channel for speakers & mono for sub), 4 component speakers with crossovers, 1 subwoofer, a capacitor, and a head unit. this is not my first stereo but i have no clue as to how i install it. my other stereo's were put in by somebody else. i want to do this one myself but i need some detailed guidelines. please be as detailed as possible in your responses.

lmcaraudio 		if you have no clue on how to install it, you may want to get some real life help. it can get a lot more complicated looking when you're actually doing it, and someone who knows what they're looking at will be a big help. but a tip, ditch the cap. they're pretty useless. better off without all the extra connections

lmcaraudio 		well lets start with the head unit you need power (red)and ground (black)and ingintion (yellow)....(blue) remote wire goes to amp ...the rca youll need three sets or rca front,rear and subs....AMPs you need power wire from battery make sure its got a fuse in it run that to the back .......after you install the head unit start runing all the wires to the back of car....(rcas and power wire and remote wire ).lets start with the four channel amp hook up the rcas to it front and back then power wire from battery if you have a distubrution block use that to seperate the power wire between both amps....... dont forget ground wire to car or frame ....hook up speaker wire to amp and route them to the front and rear of car ...and for the mono amp hook up the cap to the power wire(that comes from battery) to it ...... the ground wire to the the frame or body of car .....hook up rcas and remote then sub and boom boom hope that helps good luck

lmcaraudio 		first of all you did say what type of car you have. if everything fits fine you gonna need (these are all the parts but you can get around some of them) at least an 8g amp kit(power flow, ground, remote, rca) with at least 3 sets of RCAs and enough speaker wire(18g or 16g) to run 4 sets to the back of your deck and wire up your sub. i hope your deck has 3 preouts cuz your gonna need them or else use RCA y adaptors. dash kit and harness for specific car(if needed) and speaker plugs(2 pair). once you have all that you can get started. assuming everything fits, install your speakers(hide your crossovers in the door) wire up your deck to ign(red), constant(yellow), and ground(black). hook up your speaker wires to the factory harness and run them back to where your 4ch is along with remote.run rcas to the amps accordingly but make sure they are seperate from all other wires(power,remote,and speaker wire) as to reduce chance of engine noise. find a way from your battery into your car(different for all cars) and run it back to the amps. you just need one power wire going back and use your cap as a dis block. ground each amp and cap separately.
