Why is my subwoofer playing when volume is off?

When i turn my system on it plays for a few seconds and then i start to hear the sub make a noise. It sounds like a constant really loud sound like it hits and then does not stop. It keeps playing even when i turn the volume all the way down to zero. It is making one continuous sound and does not stop until i turn the power on the deck off and then as soon as i turn the deck back on and turn the volume up it does it again... any one have any ideas ? thanks a lot

DOUBLE check all your wiring. From the HEADUNIT connections, the RCA cables your using from the headunit to the AMP, the AMP to the subs. You could have what the call "NOISE" in your power line. Its from a crappy alternator.
