Which is a better subwoofer package?

Im kinda new to car audio, I would like to get two subwoofers and thought that Id start with either one of these packages http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113PW510/Kenwood-Bass-Package.html?tp=118&tab=review#tab or http://www.crutchfield.com/p_236MB210P/MTX-Magnum-Audio-MB210SP-Magna-Bass-Package.html?tp=118&tab=review#tab I don't want the subs to have crazy bass, I just want some bass in my trunk that doesn't distort the sound quality of everything. The MTX subs come with a ported box, I was thinking if I get the Kenwood pack that I get a sealed box because that would give me defined bass. Whats the difference between ported and sealed enclosures, sound wise? Thanks

mike101 		seal is good an thight bass an take less watts to make bass. ported is louder an slower more boom an take more watts to make bass. if u wont SQ sound quality i would go sealed

Natalie 		ported enclosures give u deeper bass which carries out longer whereas sealed enclosures give you a tighter crisper more accurate bass...it all depends on your taste in music...if you listen to alot of rap and hip hop and like alot of bass then go ported...if you listen to more country and rock go sealed...IMHO from your post i say go with the sealed....if its not what you like its pretty easy to find a ported box for sale on craigslist or something so u can swap the subs out

Samantha 		Actually, sealed enclosures give you punchy bass, and ported gives you boomy bass. So on that it depends on your taste. But go with the kenwoods, best deal.
