Where do I start for car audio?

I'm just starting to look at car audio and all I want is a sub and amp for some more bass; nothing too fancy. Where do I start? I don't wanna get ripped off at some place b/c I don't know the difference.. It's a Civic Si

ChrisfromWash 		I would also consider used equipment, do you research on what you want read reviews online, and then see what people are selling on craigslist or Ebay. slowmo110 		If you just want something to sound good and not wake the neighbors, I suggest you don't go to an car audio store. they will be really expensive. my first system was a 600 watt amp and 10 inch subwoofer. Sounds great! Just go to a walmart or some retail store and buy a cheap amp and sub and you will be pleased.
