What should I do to make my mp3 CD playable in standard car CD players? ?

Just like those original music CD's from recording artists which can just be played in ANY CD player existing. I asked this because I had mp3's from my computer saved to a CD, but then only Windows Media Player, Winamp, et al. computer multimedia software and DVD players can read it; I can't enjoy it in my car player and home component.

then your car and home theater equiptment is out of date, as most all modern car cd players and home theater equiptment will play mp3 cd-r's... if your equiptment does not play mp3 CD's then you are going to have to burn audio CD-Rs and not MP3 CD-Rs, which sucks, because you can fit nearly 100 songs or more on a MP3 CD-R, but only about 20 on an audio CD-R

When burning a CD, a dialog box should prompt you to choose the type of CD you wish to burn. Make sure you specify that you intend to burn a Audio CD rather than an mp3 CD (Audio CD's are usually the default setting on media players, but this is not always the case). That should eliminate your problem. Hope this helps. :)
