What is a good amp for a Kicker Solo X?

I have a 12" Kicker Solo X, and at the moment i'm using a Power Acoustik LFA-5500 Class "D" Amplifier. I want to use 100% of the Kicker power and that amp just cant push it all the way. any other options for other amps i can use? (Price dosnt really matter unless its over $1500) but the more economic the better thanks.

hands down the best amp for your solution is this one http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11551_Kicker+ZX2500.1+-08ZX2500.1-.html 2500 watts rms @2 ohm...retails for $1700, on sale for $749 with free shipping. If this is too much power then have a 1500 watts rms @2 ohms for a little bit cheaper. But thats if u wanted to stay with Kicker, there are other options, but why not stick with one company, if you love your sub, you will love their amps! Your current amp is can really only do 2880 watts of clean power (40 amps x 5 fuses x 14.4 input volts = 2880 [explained in detail in my other answers]) The kicker can do 4320 (300x1 amp fuse x 14.4 volts = 4320) At a quick glance it appears the Power Accoustik is more powerful, but the Kicker blows it away. The PA might say it does 5500 watts, but it will be a dirty over amplified signal and damaging your speakers, the kicker will do 4300 clean watts and adding in slight distortion could easily push 4500-4700 watts. Add in a large capacitor and the numbers will be even higher. If you want an amp that could more than blow the sub apart, get this one: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_16687_Memphis+16-MCD4KW.html 250 amp x 2 fuses x 14.4 = 7200 CLEAN WATTS!!! this is more than enough to get a girls long hair swirling like its in a hurricane! At $1200, this is the ultimate in going deaf!
