Pretty New To Car Audio, Would Love Some Help ?

Ok, first of all i dont have alot of experience with setting up car audio and purchasing the right things but i would like to do this system right unlike the ones i have had in the past so i would like some advice from someone who is knowledgeable. I have about 650.00 to spend for subs & amp and i have no clue what to purchase. I am looking for good sound quality more so than insane bass but i want some good bass also. Was looking at a single re-audio 18 inch sx but what would be the best amp for that under 300.00? Feel free to suggest something else that i could get within my budget that would sound great also... thanks

s1lents0ul 		Do you want everything upgraded, or do the stock speakers sound good enough to you? Is a sub the only thing your looking to add? What do you have already?

rothmans 		Firstly if you want to get a good sound quality, invest in proper name brands. they made a name for them self's for a reason,do some research. get yourself a decent component split system for the front.this will insure great mid and high frequencies and some coaxial speakers in the back for some rear fill. invest in two amps one four channel for driving speakers and a mono block amplifier for driving sub woofers,I would recommend going for two decent 12" subs.smaller subs will still give a mean kick and will give you a more solid and responsive bass. GET DECENT CABLING.your cabling is a vital part of your car audio system and allot of people don't spend enough money on good cabling.look for hyper twisted RCA's,they help prevent and reduce engine noise. speak to some local car audio dealers and get their point of view.with little patience youl soon have a decent rocking car.
