Open Question

Opinion Question for Car Audio Head Unit??

I am upgrading my deck in my car to something a little nicer with more Pre-Amp Outputs because I am adding more amps and everything...Anyway Right now I have some a Pioneer that is pretty easy to use--2600 model its pretty old Should I stick with Pioneer and go with something like the DEH-P4000UB that includes 3 Pre-Amp outputs, a remote, and iPod adapter or...($130-$150) I can go with an Alpine CDA-9884 that also includes 3 Pre-Amp outputs and the iPod adapter ($160-$180) Any suggestions...so far the Pioneer has been foolproof so I don't know if I should switch brands but why is the Alpine priced higher--not just on ebay but the suggested retail price on their websites is almost $50 difference... Alpine $230 Pioneer $185 Will I noticed a difference and just give me some suggestions Thanks
