Need amp help. ?

I have a 2010 hifonics brutus 1200 watt rms amp hooked up to a Solo Classic 15 from kicker. I have a issue with the sound, It hits very hard but doesnt seem to hit the lows as it should. I have it hooked up 1 ohm. I have been told its the amp. That these amps are not true rms and they have crappy crossovers in them. I am having trouble finding a amp thats good for me. I would like to get the zx 1500 from kicker but kicker amps are not 1 ohm stable. any suggestions? clarion head unit, 1/0 wiring to a 5 farad capacitor. kicker hyper twist rca's and the sub is in a 1.2cbft box as recomended by kicker.

Lol, a sub not hitting the lows, isnt the amps problem, unless its not capable of playing that frequency, in its freq range. there are sub sonic filters and low pass filters on the amp. you have to set those properly. ALSO, is the box sealed or ported? **Min Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters) 1.5, 42.5 ** **Max Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters) 6.0, 169.9 ** **Min Rec Vented Box Volume (CU. Ft., Liters)** 3.0, 85.0 ** **Max Rec Vented Box Volume (CU. Ft., Liters)** 6.0, 169.9 ** You are under the reccomended air requirements either way. you are lacking the adequate air to make the sub push that low. In the end you will damage your sub if you keep that up.
