My car alarm has no sound but the lights flash when it's set off. Why?

rgcaraudio 		Check with the manual that came with you car alarm. It sounds as though a setting has been changed inadvertently. Probably by a button sequence on the remote. That is one of the options on my Viper brand car alarm.

rgcaraudio 		Your horn relay may be defective. Try beeping the horn when you are driving the car normally. If you get no beep replace the relay.

rgcaraudio 		Your car alarm could be on silent mode, check your manual on how to change it or the siren could be busted.

rgcaraudio 		hi i just got a 96 gmc jimmy and had the same exact problem you are haveing i just went and looked for the box and hit the reset button on the box due to having a dead battery and that still didnt help so i looked and found the alarm horn and checked the wires and there it was wire was cut try doing what i did good luck
