Looking for professional advice. ?
Looking to set up an SPL competing car but having trouble figuring out how to power it. Going to be pushing aprox 4000watts from the stereo. Plan on doing the big 3 upgrade of course but could use some advise in that area. Stock alt is pushing out about 80 amps of power. With the power needs of the car and the pull of the system, what are your suggestions for efficiently powering everything? Would much appreciate if the solution did not include a second alternator (in addition to a replacement high power alt) due to little engine bay space and fabrication to install a second would be very pricey and difficult. Please help in any way possible with brands of high powered alts etc. Please only mathematically garunteed solutions, dont have money to experiment. Thank you
