Just installed new head unit and speakers in my 2002 GMC 2500Hd, When I turn the Volume up the speakers start popping and crackling. What is this caused by???

Max Volume on the head unit says 30 and when i get to 22-24 it starts popping really bad

s1lents0ul 		Ummm.... all of your speakers are crackling? A few questions first...Are you sure you wired the radio correctly? The pos/neg for each speaker..you didnt get any reversed did you? Also, check your Headunit EQ settings, maybe the bass is all the way up, or something, to overpower the speakers. You can blow a 60rms speaker with a stock radio by distorting the signal too much.
