Is 600 watts rms too low for a 15" subwoofer?

I'm on a budget and really interested in the new Cerwin Vega V-max 15.2's. They've gotten nothing but great reviews. However I was talking to a car audio installer and he said 600 rms is WAY too low for a 15". Can anybody give me some input on this? Here are the specs: Technical Specification * Sensitivity: 87.3 dB * RMS Power Range : 600 Watts * Peak Power Handling: 1200 Watts * Impedance: Dual 2 Ohm * Low Frequency response: 20 Hz * High Frequency Response: 500 Hz * Diameter: 15 Inch Features * Rugged Die-cast Aluminum Frame * Dual spider design with stitched tinsel leads * Stroker technology voice coil with PEI wire * Powerful Double Stack Magnet Assembly * Billet aluminum-look cone with chrome-look "C-V" logo. * Mounting Diameter: 14-3/32" (358mm) * Mounting Depth: 7-1/8" (181mm) * Speaker. Displacement: 0.22 cu.Ft /6.2 liters * Voice Coil Diameter: 2.5"
