I bought a capacitor (car audio) at a pawn shop & i was wondering if It would already be charged or not?

Or how it can be charged if its not. What do you touch the terminals with?

No don't touch it. He's just joking. Get a voltmeter. And measure the voltage across the terminal. In my opinion, you should NOT worry as capacitors automatically lose charge over time. And you don't charge it (explicitly). It gets charged up once in a circuit. Good Luck...

in the time it took to remove it from the car, take it to the pawn shop and sell it, it would have discharged itself and when you hook it up it will automatically charge itself
