I am looking to add to my system a subwoofer(s) and obviously an amp. I got some quotes and wanted to know..?

After going to Circuit City and getting quoted for $800, I went to an actual car audio place. Pioneer Premier DEH-P400UB is standard on all of these packages. My current head unit only has 1 output that's powering my after market speakers. They they all include sales tax, the stated sub, box, an amp, and installation (and all parts). 2 12 inch subs -- 663.21 1 12 inch sub -- 532.71 2 10 inch subs -- 608.84 1 10 inch sub -- 500.09 Are these good prices? I just want some real bass instead of what my speakers are giving me. Which package would u recommend? Thanks!

lmcaraudio 		If you are located near North Carolina there is a store called Sound Advice in Shelby,NC They beat any chain stores prices also The packages you listed really all varies depending on the brand of speakers. Most places if they can tell you really don't know what you're looking for they will try to sell you the highest priced speakers they can offer.. The Best speakers and stereo you can buy as far as sound quality go are J.L audio and Kicker Alpine and audiobahn, However they can be a little pricey as well.. Try doing a google search for car stereo equipment and compare prices that way, Try checking out a few sites I list below hope it helps. :)

lmcaraudio 		go for the 2 12s if u can fit them in your car its only 100 more for another speaker id do that def

lmcaraudio 		You have opened the door to eternal shopping. I went Crutchfield. The service rocks. Period. I landed an 06 model Kicker L7 12" Solo Baric, and an 07 model Kicker ZX750.1 mono amp for about $600. The set up is a thumpin mixture of quality and reliability. I had my head unit installed, and had the wiring kit already, so the guy installing the Pioneer deck could leave my RCA cables and remote power wire hanging. I built the box, installed the equipment, and now I JUST WANT MORE!!!!! But if you're gonna go with anything..go Kicker, they know bass. My neighbor (600 yards down the highway) heard my system inside his house yesterday...so I musta did something right.
