I am getting a Diamond Audio D612D2 and was wondering it a Hifonics HFi1000.1d at 2ohm would work?

the sub needs 600W rms and the peak handling is 1200W, The amp would give it 750rms @ 2 ohms, would the sub handle that because i dont want to over power it and blow it. i hear the diamond D6 likes a little more power than the 600rms rating so i feel it would be fine. anyone help me out here? my last system got stolen so i want another real bad.

As you can see you cant wire 1 sub that is 2ohm dual voice coil to 2 ohm, you should get a 1 ohm stable amp. That sub can be paired with another 2 ohm dual voice coil and you can get 2ohm at the amp, but otherwise, if you stick with one, you can only get 1 or 4 ohms at the amp.
