How would I go about hooking up car stereo components to a home stereo?

I have two-1000watt amps, two-15 inch subwoofers and a multi-input equalizer that I'd like to keep for my home stereo system. How would I go about wiring all the components to work off of a AC input or how would I get a DC input working at home without it having to be a car battery? The wiring for a typical car installation I'm familiar with but how would I wire this for power without the car or the battery's current?

lmcaraudio 		NO you just don't do this. Bad sound, high cost, and the stupid factor all come to mind.

lmcaraudio 		. Like the other Posters said, it's NOT a quality thing to do. BUT if you just want to mess around and won't drive the system very hard, you might look into an AC to DC converter. Make VERY sure the amps are right and won't burn your equipment. Here's info from the powerStream site: "...Description : An innovative product to suit any 12 volt DC products use anywhere in the world. It has a high efficiency and is light and compact. It operates most 12-14V DC equipment from 90-240 Volt AC Power Outlet ideal for home use of coolers and other car equipment up to 4.0 AMP. Special Features : - 4.0 AMP constant ." ...etc. They're talking about a 50 watt driver which probably won't do much. It only cost $25 or so. Maybe Radio Shack has similar stuff. Then you have to use thin, quality wiring which won't soak up all the juice. It'll look, and probably sound, like crap.
