How to Wire - 2000 Ford Countour ?

Hey guys/girls, I am trying to figure out how to Rewire my 2000 Ford Contour's(L Vin if it matters) wiring. My old wiring got screwed up and shorted by a chick that ran a red light and crunched her - i finally got my car fixed but at the moment I am having to run my speakers through audio wire that i have hiding under my seats for now. The problem I am having is getting the audio wire through the frame of the body through the connector on the door. It has a clasp like mechanism that I cannot get around but do not know how to get through either. I could just drill a hole there and protect it with some kind of conduit but I'd rather do it right. If I could get an answer with a descent explanation I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Chance
