How do you get rid of Alternator wine?

I have a 98 accord V6 coupe. List of items: Head Unit: DVA - 9681 Processor(s): - EpiCenter (by: Audio Control) - Apex (by: Kove Audio) Amp: MTX 405 (5 ch. amp) Cap: One Rockford Fosgate1 farad Cap Front: Boston Acoustics Components Pro 60 Rear: Boston Acoustics (6x9) SX65 Sub: Eclipse 12" Alum. Dual 4 ohm VC Battery: Kinetik HC1400 Power Cell Alternator: Load Boss 180amps Using Rockford Fosgate 4 ga power/ground wire Gain on amp is set to my optimal settings (about half way) Played with gain until desired settings. (Set by ear) 1/0 ga wire to D-block Using a dual fused D-block in the engine bay - ANL 150 amp fuse (used for H.O. Alternator) - ANL 100 amp fuse (used as power wire to amp) - I added the "BIG 3" using 4 ga cables - Added 3 Rockford Fosgate ground loop isolators (front, rear, and sub) - All grounds are solid. Checked with a DMM. - RCA and power wires are on either side of the car. Is there anything else that could help?

Check all grounds. If you didn't scrape away the paint, this can cause problems. If possible, have all grounds to the same location in the trunk. Last resort you can try a ground loop isolator or an inductive type filter (noise supressor above). ___________________ Gain on amp is set to my optimal settings (about half way) Played with gain until desired settings. (Set by ear) The wrong way to do it. The purpose of the gain is to match the signal volts RMS coming from the source (CD player, etc.) to the input of the amp. Here is a guide that will help you set the gain correctly http://www.datafilehost.com/download.php?file=6d26c621 You'll need a multi-meter (AC voltmeter), Microsoft Excel and a way to burn an audio CD from an MP3. If you don't have Excel, e-mail me and I'll send you a condensed version sparky3489@yahoo.com ______________ There was a experiment where 15 pro audio shops were given the task to set a specific setup by ear. Only 2 had it set within tolerances of actual measurement. The other 13 had the system clipping while 3 had the system severely clipping.

Ground in a different location. sure your mulit may show a good ground rating, but that doesn't mean its in a good spot. Re-ground in a different spot.
