How do I get into car audio installation?

Are there classes or schools to look into? Where can i get trained in colorado?

Bersh85 		dont know about over in the states but here in australia u gotta do a auto electricians course i think it takes a while 2 do.

Jayden 		Two words... Mobile Dynamics. They have two schools in north america, ones in Toronto, Ontario and the others' in Pheonix, Arizona. These are easily the best schools in north america. They have 4 and 8 week courses available. I went in January and graded in March this year. I was hired within a week of the job hunt. They teach everything from the technical electrical side and the installs in the shop. and grading MD gets your MECP certification.

Jamison 		Visit your local car audio shop and see if they will train you if you have no expeirence. If you live in Denver check out Car Toys or even Best buy, Circut City they maybe able to help.There are a few schools to get certified at one is in Florida, one in Arizona and i think there is one in California.

rgcaraudio 		Just be sure to have a FULL understanding of Ohm's Law and how 12 volt systems work. I've seen too many "so-called" MECP certified people give the wrong advice on here.
