Car stereo: are the left and right channels the same for front and back speakers?

I have a 2 channel amp that I have hooked up to my back speakers(for the crossover) and was wondering if I ran it to my front speakers if I would being missing any audio that might be exclusive to front speakers(would be running them off back outputs)

lmcaraudio 		Your right and left adjustments will still work, but you'll loose the front to rear fading ability if you run the front and rear speakers off the same 2 channel amp.

lmcaraudio 		Make sure if you do, you need to have 4ohm speakers to run 4. You would only need 8ohm when running 2... otherwise you can fizz out ya amp. Cheers Bushie
