Car cd/mp3 player sound just stopped working. no sound from the speakers?

I have a JVC CD/ MP3 player that was working perfecty fine until 2-3 days ago. My car is a Hyundai Sonata 2002. The CD player plays CD's and mp3's but there is no sound coming from the speakers. I replaced it with my older unit but still the same problem. I checked all the fuses, even under the dash and all of them seem to be ok. Any help would be appreciated.

rgcaraudio 		I would check to make sure everything is grounded properly, that could easily be the case if a ground is loose. Good luck

rgcaraudio 		jjust take it to ur local audio repair shop, its better to let the pro's do it, you maight get hurt or shocked. besides its less stress for you.

rgcaraudio 		its simple, nuthing too serious but u have a short circuit on your speakers, most likely the speaker cables are touching eachother( you know positive is touching negative) well check your speaker cables, im preety sure thats ur problem because any car stereo has protection from burning your system, its protection works when the cd playes detects a shortage so the music stops playing
