Car audio amplifier problem?

Is it at all possible that my audio amplifier is draining power from my battery when my car's shut off? And if so, how do I fix it?

yeah and that is that because the remote a blue wire is not connected to the stereo. it may be connected to the amp itself. the amp has three inputs battery+ remote and ground- some people connect the remote and the battery together and that leaves the amp turned on all the time. people run the power cable from the battery and connect it to the postive terminal on the amp. then they take a lil strip of wire and make a loop from the + terminal of the amp to the remote terminal. connect the remote to the indash it should have a blue wire with a white stripe. or just a blue wire. make sure that the alternator is working fine and that the battery is in good condition too.
