Car audio...tweeter problems?

I installed (month or two ago) a pair of tweeters in my truck...and just recently the passenger side tweeter has been crackling but not constantly, only on some songs its quite bizarre, so i checked all the connections and they seem fine...i've installed my deck, amp and subs so i do have experience...could it simply be a malfunction with the one tweeter or a bad connection somewhere? help would be appreciated thanks btw the driver side tweeter is working perfectly it also sounds worse while driving on bumpy roads which leads me to believe its a connection problem...but like i say they all seemed fine to answer your question...yes they do have crossovers i installed them on the door panel
