Can I use our undercover police lights for a car alarm in WA State?

We just bought a Honda Accord that was used as an undercover unit. The police lights are hidden inside the head and tail lights. There's also what we think is a siren. Could we use the equiptment for a car alarm? I'm thinking not likely, but man that would be cool. We recently had our other car broken into and I know those thugs would be gone with the quickness if when the car alarm went off, it was those side lights and a very load siren.

As long as the car is not being driven, you may be O.K. with the police lights as part of your car alarm system. If you drive with them on, you may get arrested for impersonating a police officer.

I wouldn't and i am very surprised that all of the equipment was left in the car, someone didn't do their job properly

As long as you don't go around acting like you are a police officer, which is illegal.Otherwise, you should be fine.
