Can I install an in-dash monitor on a 1983 Jaguar XJ6?

I wanted to know if I can install a in-dash monitor (Jensen VM9412) in my 1983 Jaguar XJ6. I went to crutchfield.com and it says that it fits but im not sure. Here are some sites you can check to see if it can fit or can be modified to fit: http://www.flickr.com/photos/maximumstick/526830507/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/maximumstick/526830179/ I was thinking if I can take out the trip computer out, and installing the jensen there. Is that possible?
