Are surround sound speakers good for car audio??

i was thinking about using the satellite speakers in a surround sound system and putting them in a car, stupid?? how would i amplify them anyways

Isabella 		if you have a 4 channel amp you can use that but id recomend that the gain is turned all the way down then turn your deck volume up and slowly turn the amp up until you feel its good also if you have a 2 channel sub amp that has a high pass filter you can do the same thing with the gain but make sure if you use a 2 channel to turn the bass off on the amp
