Amp to sub configuration. ?

I have a KAC-7285 600 watt, 2 channel amp and KFC-w3013 sub. Both Kenwood. Sealed enclosure. (Is this best or should I get vented, bandpass) What is the best configuration here? Is the 600 watt bridged too much for the sub? Rated at 1200 peak and 400 RMS is one sub able to handle the whole amp. Should the amp be on mono or stereo? Can the ohms be changed? Do they need to? Any help appreciated.

First off sealed Vs. vented or bandpass is all up to opinion. If you like rock and metal go with sealed. Hip hop and rap, go for vented or bandpass. your amp is fine. and I would bridge the two subs to the amp which will make it mono but its more power.
